I just think people need to look at things in a different light.

for example:
Instead of spending all this time building a kludgey robot to do the dishes...we need to re-design the kitchen so that the sink and the dishwasher work together automatically.

That kinda thing needs to happen in order for the future to get here...

Careful... you may be crossing over into prophet.

for example:

I always sorta thought of the dishwasher as being robotic. If we remove the human interaction... would we also have dishes that need washed?

That kinda thing needs to happen in order for the future to get here...
I am pretty sure the future will get here with little or no effort from anyone. Or else.... we may be stuck in the present till someone invents a decent flying car. AND..... I've read of rumors that Moller is retiring.

Yeah his setup looks pretty cool. I actually emailed him for advice one time, but his response was disappointing. He said he was happy with his setup and had not messed with it in years (meaning no longer participating in the x10 hobby), and sorry he could not help me. I was kinda disappointed by such an uncreative sounding response.

I like his Casio watch!  He can send remote commands from it!   :)%
