Are you a SENTINEL owner?? I have a question for you.
« on: April 04, 2010, 08:51:25 PM »

I want to eliminate 3 of my cameras and replace it with 1 sentinel.

My question is: If I have 3 motion sensors (eagle eye) can I program the sentinel to pan and tilt to a certain area for each motion sensor?

I really need to know as this is a big + of the ability to program the sentinel to a house and unit code.

Any help or insight you have would be greatly appreciated.

The presets are accessed by specific RF commands from the Sentinel's remote.  You may be able to create macros in AHP to send that RF command when AHP "hears" the motion sensor.

If that doesn't work, you could create a listener in BVC that listens for the On from the motion detector and sends the camera preset signal.

All of the above assumes they are not X10 "security" motion sensors but instead Active Eye or Eagle Eye or PR511.

In the real world, the only constant is change.

I need a DEFINITE answer before I purchase.

If this can be done in any way shape or form I want to know.

Thanks Bill.  I thought of that but I want to make 100% sure it can be done or I am out 320 bucks.
