Can any X10 wall switches control the newer energy saving CFL bulbs?

No I have not checked a WS13A leakage but can. It would be the X10Pro XSP3 in my case.

I'm just wondering if they have "Local Control" leakage for the 3-way application. Or better way to ask...can they control a LED bulb?

X10Pro XPS3-IW Date Code: 04L51. Not sure what may have changed to 2010.
No local control sensing. I screwed and unscrewed my test light and didn't trip it on from off. It has the low current is the relay on or off sensing.
About 0.29 Ma AC
< 1 Watt three LED C7 night light replacement bulb. Glows
15 LED 1.5 Watt LED bulb. Glows
3 Watt High Intensity LED Bulb universal 120-240 AC input. OK no glow. This bulb is known  to flash on some modules.
13 Watt Honeywell CFL OK. As we know CFLs can vary in sensitivity to the small currents.

HEY THANKS!!   #:)

My guess is the XPS3 and the WS13 are identical, so at least I know my 3 watt Cree LEDs and probably most CFLs should work fine on a WS13. I only have a couple of the "many LEDs in series" bulbs, and was always dispointed in their light output.

Thanks for the information Brian.

Hmm, wonder if the dimmable leds will work with the WS467, or no, because it's under the 25 watt rating?

New LED bulbs on the Horizon.

Looks promising, but Yikes   :o - $40-$50 each...  Wonder if the Gov't or the power company will offer a rebate, like when CFL's first came out ???

The WS467 steals power through the bulb.
So my guess is no they will not work.

Yes $40-$50 is costly, but time may lower the price. I can remember early CFL bulbs also being quite high priced.
My EvoLux S LED bulbs where $79.99 ea. Now I believe they are around $39.99 even though they are the WORSE X10 noise maker I have in my possession and are not dimmable. ???

Hi everyone.

I installed XPS3 + Fluorescent(CFL) around my house. Most of them work excellent.

However, I have problems with some modules because the CFL usually blink ON.

Can someone post a step-by-step solution? I read other post about to install a 1/2 watt 22k ohm resistor across the load, but I don't understand how to do that. (I'm not a electrician!)

I'd appreciate any help !!!!!!!

Regards!
