Sorry to hear that, but with so many different ways to wire a 3 way setup. It can be a challenge.

I have a few that are 100% different from each other myself.

That’s why in my instance I had to completely un-wire everything, map what wires were where (no new snaking allowed), and make a new wiring plan that was compatible with the needs of the X10 devices.  It worked, but it was completely different from "what was".
