i had AHP with a palm pad, a mini timer and some modules

If i do an all units off on the mini timer everything turn off at the same time but if I want to do it with AHP (by macros or GUI), it turns off sequentially.

The mini timer is sending the single All Units Off command to your House Code.
Sounds like AHP is sending an individual off to each module in sequence.
I am sure AHP experts will have a solution for you.

No AHP expert here, but are you using more than one House Code?

Well I have a Test Setup in AHP that I use with my Insteon Modules which also have an X10 address in them.
All in House Code A
I found that it does in fact send each modules address and then an off.
Maybe it does it that way since AHP can use all the House Codes.

Small X10 signal capture with a Smarthome 1132CU when AHP {3.228} sent an All Units Off:

Why ?

Maybe it has something to do with AHP wanting to assign macros to locations (rooms). If you do an "All Lights Off" macro in the "Office" does AHP only turn the lights off in the office? That would prevent using a "House Code Off" command.

Here is why it works that way......

I have modules in my living room on different house codes.  The fireplace is on code H (HVAC, cute huh?) and the lights are on B.  AHP gets them all by this method without killing the furnace, also on code H.

I keep waiting for Charles Sullivan to hit this thread with the correct extended code command to turn all units off on a specific house code.  This will be the fix the OP is looking for.

Boiler used to be my go-to guy on extended codes, but Elvis has left the building.

Anyone know the ext code for all units off?  Maybe an advanced search will churn up the list again.

It is possible to use the advanced command "X10 Address Command".

You would "pre address" each device on a particular house code by using "X10 Address Command A1", "X10 Address Command A3", etc.  individually addressing each module you want to change.

Then "Send A1 (or other A address) Off".

Once the Off is sent, all the "pre addressed" modules on that house code will respond at the same time.

Sadly, "X10 Address Command" MACRO's can't be stored in the interface and must be run from the PC only.

You can't "pre address" modules, except to set their code wheels to specific addresses before using them.  That's what Bill meant in his post.

No, Dan, that's not what I meant.

I meant you can create an AHP macro that first sends out only the addresses of the modules you want to control, then sends a on or off command to just one of them and they will all respond as one.

what do you put on the macro?
just the modules title with no actions, then your turn off command ?

i try it and it works.

the sad thing it`s only work when the computer is attached to the interface.

I had a portable an 90 % of the time, it`s unplugged.

i`ll continue doing it sequentially or on my mini timer.
