I'm in the process of setting up my newly purchased home security system and I'm having problems with my motion sensors.  It says so press and hold the test button for 5 seconds and let off-the LED light should blink twice to indicate its ready for testing, however, it will only blink once and it doesn't seem to be picking up any motion during this "test".  Anyone have any guidance?

when I added two of these to a vacant home we own, i read the instructions a dozen times and I too never saw the described blinks. 

So I just gave up on them, removed the batts to reset it, put back, carried ms10 to the ds7000 and put it in install mode, pushed the button one time, got new zone added as expected, put ds7000 back to run2 and tested it by arming away and walking in front of sensors.  both sensors worked fine. 

remember, in run2, u dont get ding-dong on ms10 like u do on ds10.  but if u arm away and then walk in front of it, the ds7000 will go off if it registered correctly.
