Mochad not starting on boot
« on: February 18, 2011, 11:45:38 AM »

I've got mochad installed and running great, however when I reboot the pc I have to unplug and plug back in the CM15A/CM19A.  Any tips on having it start automatically?

Thanks

Are you still having this issue?
I've been off working on other things but can check my Ubuntu 10, mochad install if it might help.

Yes, still having the issue.  Everything works great, until I reboot. But all I have to do is unplug and plug back in.  I was just letting you know it was with both the cm15a and cm19a.

Thanks

/etc/udev/rules.d/91-usb-x10-controllers.rules should run mochad even on boot
whenever the OS detects a suitable X10 controller. udev must be working since
plugging/unplugging works.

However, since it does not work for your system, try running mochad from
/etc/rc.local. If mochad does not find a suitable X10 controller, it bails out
so there is no downside to running it on every boot.
