DS7000 + MagicJack. Will it work?

I know that I might be beating a dead horse but I was wondering if the Magicjac will work with the DS7000. I have read a couple threads and a couple have reported that it has worked successfully but many have said that it has not worked with the DS7000 and that it will not call out. I currently have cable internet at home but no phone line so im looking for a cheap alternative to get the DS7000 to work. I understand that if the power gets cut I will lose all security but since the system is ran on batteries in will still trigger just not call. Thanks in advance.

I've had no problems with this.  We run ours through a MagicJack and leave that computer running all the time.

I have a magicjack as well and it works without problems. It calls my cell phone when the alarm is tripped every time.
