floodcam washed out

Any one out there know of a fix for a floodcam being washed out. It works fine when the sun of now above the cam but once it is the view is white washed. Any ideas as to what is wrong.

If the camera is looking directly at the sun, like at sunrise, or sunset, no there isn't much you can do other than reposition the floodlight so it isn't pointed at the sun. The small X10 cameras are all fixed iris. If you can't get the floodcam out of the sun then you may need a camera with auto iris.
