Hello,
I have active home pro 3.306. I have a driveway sensor that activates a PSC01 to turn on several outside lights for 15 minutes. I also have these lights set up on timers to go on a various times around dusk and to go off at various times around 10 PM( works fine). The lights are also working now through the sensor that trips a macro that turn the outside lights on in sequence. This is all fine and dandy, but 2 problems. One, The lights will turn on during the day when someone drives in, and two, when they are already on in the evening, they will turn off after the designated time in the macro. I would like the macro only to be "active" from say 10:30pm to dawn.
I do not have smart macros installed, but I did notice that the macro window has a timer function.
I have played with this macro timer and tried entering a start time of 10:30pm (there is no option for an end time).
But the lights still come on during the day...
I thought I might be able to accomplish my goal without having to purchase smart macros.
Any thoughts?
Mike

Noam

In order to do the conditions you want, I'm pretty sure you'll need SmartMacros.
You would create a condition on the macro to only trigger between 10:30 PM and dawn.
The timer on the macro is simply a way to trigger the macro at a certain time.

OK, I was afraid of that.
I was hoping I might be able to put a dummy switch with a timer on it in AHP that would only let the macro operate under the time conditions.
I guess I'll have to buy the smart macro plug in...
Thanks for your help.

You CAN do that, but you'll still need the SmartMacros to enable the condition.
