Is it this easy to wire a UM506 to a garage?

I bought a UM506 last year and just haven't been able to set aside the time required to take apart the garage opener and get inside the figure out the wiring.

Is it really as simple as pulling out a single wire from in there, cutting it and putting the UM506 between it? Then plug it in and I'm done?
