First active home pro wont detect the transmitter and second every few mins the remote plug turns my light on and then a few mins later off, weird any way to fix this???

Brian H

Any motion sensors or X10 remotes in your setup?

KRB599

Yes there is one motion detector but i removed its battery, also that doesnt explain the nonconectivity issues

All i have in my setup at the moment(will get more after conectivity problems fixed) is a ringer, motion detector, and remote plug and usb transmitter(CM19A)

Brian H

Please give us some model numbers.
Not detecting the transmitter? Would that be the CM19A?
I am thinking your AHP kit came with a CM19A, TM751, SC546, MS14.

yeah i meant it wont detect that the CM19A is conected

CM19A, MS14, TM751, SC546 are the numbers

SC546 is not conected atm and MS14 has no battery so only active ones are CM19A (USB powered transmiter), TM751 (wall plug)

EDIT: found out my neighbors got home automation sprinklers that interfere with my house code B switching to C on the module has stopped the turning on/off for now, but i still have the cm19a not detected issuses with AHP

When you installed AHP did you leave the CM19A disconnected until the installer asked you to connect it?
Is the CM19A on a computer port or a hub?

Yes and it was working fine till a week ago, its connected to the usb port on the back, ive tryed the other ports and same result, but a usb flashdrive works in those ports so its not the ports.

Note: i may not get back to you till monday evening my time as Im leaving town eairly tomorow morning sorry and thanks for your help

Brian H

Oh worked and now it does not. Along with the USB ports working with other devices.
Maybe it has failed.

KRB599

does failing happen often? one other thing i noticed was its not listed in device manager, only thing i notice that might be it in the list is something called firecracker interface

*im leaving in 1 hour wont be back till late monday evening sorry

I have a X10 USB Firecracker Device listed in the Device Manager in XP. In the Universal Serial Port Controllers tab.
Also have a X10 HID Device in the Human Interface Device Tab but I think that one got added during on of my see if new drivers fixed things attempts. In an earlier AHP revision.
You are using the latest 3.13 AHP?
