I purchased and downloaded the ActivePhone plug-in.  I registered it, but it doesn't show as registered on the initial screen pop-up when starting AHP.  If I enter my email and continue it comes up with the standard error:  Active Home Professional has encountered a problem and needs to close.  Do you want to send a report to Microsoft, etc......I tried with and without WiFi enabled.  Same error.  Using AHP 3.311 and Win XP.  What would I be doing wrong.

Thanks,

Firstly, it's not ActivePhone, the plug-in is ActivePhone Pro.   Look at the entry screen in AHP.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Dan:

I own ActivePhone.  I do not own ActivePhone Pro.  These are two different things, but as you have no plug-ins (don't need them) I wouldn't expect you to know that.  Too bad you didn't know that before you posted here.

On my entry screen for AHP 3.310 it reads "ActivePhone PRO" grayed out since I have no plug-ins.

Knightrider,
I also purchased ActivePhone - I don't see a plug-in called ActivePhonePro on the X10 website as an available plug-in.  On log in the ActivePhonePro plug-in displayed as not registered BUT ActivePhone is displayed as registered in Help -> Register.  Also the ActivePhone is not working on my iPhone 4.
If it doesn't work get a BIGGER hammer!!

active phone pro is a relatively new add-on that's being offered by x10's sub vendors for a limited time before the mother company launches it's sale at X10.com.

I posted a solution to your problem in your other thread.

So, I now have a working version of ActivePhone.  It required a few tweaks from the programmers.  The 3.3112 eliminated the problem of getting an error screen which said AHP encountered a problem and needed to shut down.  This would occur when I used the Invite A Cellphone option.  Once fixed I would send the email and open it up on my iPhone 4 only to see the 500 Error-invalid security key.  The 3.313 update today fixed that today.  I did not select the Use Security for WiFi option above the box where you type in your email address for it to be sent.  Works like a charm so far.  I wonder if it works on an iPad or Xoom?
