I’ve been into X10 cameras for 5+ years or so. Presently I have 2 Vanguards and 2 Sentinel cameras that work very well through my iPhone.  Lately I have been considering purchasing another Sentinel but now I see there soon will be a new Sentinel Pro available. I’m wondering how true the boasting advertisements are of increased range with the "InvisiWall Technology" and how good the Starlight Night Vision will be. I see the new Sentinel Pro version does not state it uses the new ASP (Advanced Signal Protection) that the new XCam Pro uses to supposedly prevent interference with WiFi networks. Any one have any more pre release info on this new Sentinel Pro?

Frank,

I'm pretty sure the only difference is that the PRO line uses 900Mhz as opposed to 2.5 Ghz.  Otherwise, I think it's the exact same cam.  900Mhz is the old cordless phone band.  2.4Ghz is the way of th3e world on wi-fi and some phones and etc.
Remote control is cool,

900Mhz Hummmmmmm. Then I suspect 900Mhz Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping. OK I see that would defiantly increase the range but that means it’s not compatible with an existing camera system. Meaning my existing VR36A 2.4Ghz video receiver will not work with the new Sentinel Pro.

That is why they sell it with a new receiver in the kit.
Also support for two VR12A Video Input Modules is being added to the software. So you have 2.4GHz one and the new 921Mhz ones. Both can be used in the same system.

It appears to be conventional FM at 921MHz.

Is anyone testing a beta one yet?
I see in the on line add X10 is only taking Pre-Orders. I guess there are none in stock yet.
