My BVC setup

 The mixer I am using is a Vaddio MicView teleconference microphone mixer.

When I was setting it up - I recorded what the computer was hearing when I said a command.
It was then that I noticed that it seem to cut off the 1st part of a word.
This was due to the time it took for the gate to respond to the spoken words which is also dependant on the level settings.
I also noticed how much echo and hollow the sound inputs were.
