Security system self-disarm issue.
« on: August 13, 2011, 11:58:19 PM »

Hello!
Somebody please help me to solve my issue.

I have x10 security system equipped with:
1) sc12a console
2) 2pc. KR32A remotes.
3) 3pc. ms18a motion sensors
4) 2pc. ds12a door\windows sensor.

After about one month or so of using this security system it has started work wrong - the system started to activate alarm by itself after couple minutes I armed system and left my house. I've found out that console shows that front door\window sensor has been triggered on by some reason. I tried to troubleshoot a problem, but didn't find any viewable problems with door\window sensors and I've decided just try to delete zones for all door\windows sensors from the system and see what will happen than.
Now I have another problem. whenever I activate alarm (either way - from remote or console by itself) - and come back home I always try to check if system works properly I move in front of motion sensor and if alarm goes on  - just deactivate it with my remote. Now I've found out that sometimes system works - sometimes not. Even when I arm system, go away and come back home later - I walk to control console through 2 motion sensors and find that system is not armed.
some times when I come back home and first motion sensor detects me - I hear one chime\beep sound from console but nothing happens - console shows we that system is not armed, but 1 zone motion sensor has been triggered on.

thanks.
