Compatibility between two different X10 products brands ?
« on: September 18, 2011, 08:37:21 AM »

Does MARMITEK products and X-10 ORIGINAL POWERHOUSE products cooperate between its other?
Especially with CM15Pro - Computer Interface and RF Transceiver or the TM13 module?

Thank you

NO.
MarmiteK units are for European and other Countries that use 240 Volts 50Hz power and 433.92MHz. RF frequencies.
Our units use 120 Volts 60Hz power and 310MHz RF frequencies.

Both use the same power line signal of 120KHz., but power requirements and different RF frequencies would make mixing them problematic.
There are hacks to convert our power line modules to 240 Volts and the CM15Pro could control then with power line signals, but any device using RF signals would fail.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Most of the modules/switches/remotes are available in 230V/50Hz versions. Check Marmitek, X-10 Europe, and Laser Business Systems for what is available.

If you have a question regarding a specific device, post the model number.

Yes Powerhouse Brand Name was used for both the X10 Europe and our US modules.
As long as you are using the European Powerhouse Modules with the CM15Pro. They are compatibly.

The problems are when someone buys our US models and does the hacks for 220 volts 50 cycles and they don't work all the time.

So, also MARMITEKs products will work with the other European X10 Powerhouse Modules like CM15 or LM15, is it?

If European X10 products are like our CM15A  and  LM15a.    As been said before, X10 items for US and Canada don't work in England or Europe.

Yes Marmitek modules use the same 120KHz power line signals as your CM15Pro and the same RF frequency of 433.92 MHz also used by the European modules.

In fact their web site points out it is X10
