Electric doorbell

I have an electric doorbell (it was cheaper than replacing the regular doorbell unit) for our front door.  I put it on X10 with an appliance module and it has a timer on 6 AM to Midnight daily (that keeps it off when asleep).  If the cops show up a 3 AM they can pound on the door, we will probably wake up.

That's a clever use of X10 .
