Volume Boost for built in speaker
« on: October 27, 2011, 04:20:36 AM »

I previously read a post about a volume boost ap but can not find the suggested ap now.  I have tried  several Market downloads but none seems to affect the speaker volume, only the earphone volume.

If anyone knows about a good ap for sound boost at the speaker, please advise.

Kind of a McGyver fix, I modified a plastic food container so that it held the airpad at a good viewing angle, I could plug in power still and the area behind the airpad acted as a speaker case which sort of channeled all the sound towards me. Cupping your hands around the speaker while holding the airpad and letting the sound out an opening towards you also works. Not high tech, but works if you have nothing else. ;)

You could also try an app called power app. It has a wide adjustment of your music, equalizer, tone, volume booster etc. I use it with head phones and it is fantastic. Download the trial version to see if it will work for you.
