Can't boot up

I've been using my original airpad since around Sept.2011.  I love it but for some reason, I can not boot up now.  It is fully charged.  It starts with the AIRPAD logo, then sometimes the loading icon flashes on, and then it turns itself off.  It may even get to the opening screen where I choose the icon I want to work with and then turns off.  It either turns off after a second of seeing the logo, or it goes all the way to the main screen, but it is not letting me do anything.  I have tried rebooting it many times, plugged in with the charger or without and I do not know what to do.  I am very frustrated and NOT A TECHIE!  HELP!!

First, please learn how to search the forum. Then search on how to re-flash your specific tablet.  You will find that you are not the only one to have this problem and that many good people have spent the time to explain how to fix it.  Thirdly, any further questions should be posted in the forum that you have now found to get a quicker response. Fear not! Help is available once you learn the system.

Thanx.  I don"t know what flashing means but at least I can now try to find the info I need.
