An argument against multiple transceivers in close proximity is that superregenerative receivers put out a lot of RF and receivers within (up to) 6-8 feet of each other can interfere with each other. The RR501 and all but the latest TM751 use superregenerative receivers. The CM15A and latest TM751 use superheterodyne receivers which (by and large) do not exhibit this problem.
