Hi guys haven't been here in a while but I need some new light switches and a few miscellaneous things and seems like the links at the top of the X10 sight are not operative, just wondering if they are still in the business of selling home automation equipment.

The New Automation Section of the Catalog area does show some modules. Now if they are actually available maybe a different thing.

I also found the old catalog pages are blank.

Some of the independent X10 dealers are still showing stock of some items. If you need some replacements.
One has also started a Discontinued or Unavailable list of modules.

Only they know. We wonder the same thing. They say they are bringing out a new CM15A or equivalent by end of year. That will be a good indication of life. The fact that they are still selling switches and modules, their core products, indicates to me that they are getting production quantities from the new factory. (the cup is half full!).

The fact that they are still selling switches and modules could mean they have a bunch in a factory that they are selling til gone.  (cup half empty).   ;)

Yep that could also be true. Usually I'm a "dang glass is empty" kinda guy...I was rather happy with my unusual optimism. You sure pulled the chair out.  :D

I'm the type of guy who likes to have all sides put out there.  It just worked out this time that I got to be the negative one.    :'

It could also be that the cup just has a dribble in it and they're taking orders that they cannot fulfill - it wouldn't be the first time :)

Looks like I can be more negative than anyone  rofl

Look at the link Brian posted.  There is a whole number if X10 items listed with prices.   This may mean X10 is slowly getting in business.

Including the RR501 which supposedly was discontinued.

I am not too sure how accurate the web pages are.
The independent X10 dealer "The X10 Shop". Their discontinued modules page has the RR501 on it.
Most dealers are showing little or no stock of many modules.

I wonder if that is a list of their intended future product line.

Would be nice if it is. It is a decent line-up of HA hardware. I wonder about the pricing. The 3-way WS4777 combo is cheaper than the 2-way WS467, unless the WS477 is the old non soft start master and the WS467.

Th software pricing has some sticker shock.

Well things are changing in the Automation Arena. That could effect things, for X10 and others.
Lowe's has now come out with their own Automation and Security line of goods.
Called Iris. Uses ZigBee, Z-Wave and WiFi.

Also since Leviton bought out HAI. Who knows where that is going.

I did see an X10 sale for Appliance modules yesterday and some X10 dealers do have Lamp and Appliance Modules now.
