Airsight xx40A external Microphone

I am investigating what anyone else is using for a audio out external microphone to hear sound thru computer or tv for the xx40a.

If wondering, im using a damaged screen netbook with the video displayed on my tv.

also

Can the microphone be powered by the camera only? or with a POE. distance from my router to camera is less than 50ft.

Might as well tell me about the audio in for outside speaker, alarm type  etc.

The mic can be powered by either method.

There are no specs listed for the speaker. I would suspect that pretty much any speaker would work.
