Ahhh, that's something I never thought about.  I don't know whether that will matter for implementing GV into the HA setup, but I appreciate the heads up.

You most certainly can (send GV an SMS via em) and at NO charges to your cell/Mobile phone, or to GV account or debit against GV standing Prepaid credit. I am a newbie here and have really enjoyed reading all these posts in many different categories. I know this is a very dated thread/subject. By now I'm sure yaolive  figured it out. 
If that's not the case or anyone out there needs help on the GV (GoogleVoice) subject, I'd be happy to share.
