Since you didn't say which cameras you where looking at. IP or the XCam line.

All the cameras have an individual wall wart style power supply.

X10 does sell a POE {Power Over Ethernet} adapter to allow you to send the IP cameras power through the network cable. If you are using the wireless feature POE would not be an option.

Unless your power outlet is within 6 ft of where you 're going to mount the camera...
