XX40a Antenna

Received my new airsight XC40a..

Hardwired install no issues but wireless is a different
The external antenna will  not screw into the camera.  The antenna male is too big.  it just slides into the female on the bracket

X10 is sending me a new antenna.

Anyone else seen this issue

In the meantime to tried the antenna from my old pan and tilt.  IT SCREWED IN OK and did work wireless as long as I stayed in the room with the router.

Once I tried it someplace it would not work.

Looked closely at the 2 antennas

the one from the xc40a (long antenna has a wire coming out the middle of the cable).

the one from my old pan and tilts does not.

Anyone else tried anything else.
