Hello everyone!  I am very new to this and have tried to read before posting, but I still am a bit confused as to what the TM751 can or cannot do, so please bear with me :)

Here is what I'm trying to do.  I have 3 PoE networked ip cameras installed around the outside of my home all monitored by Blue Iris surveillance software installed on a dedicated PC.  All working quite fine.....I might add!  However, because there is a lot of sun & shade in my driveway, I am getting a lot of false alerts.  I've tried to tweak Blue Iris to no avail.  So I figured the best solution was to use an MS16A Motion Sensor to detect human motion & send an RF signal to the TM751 transceiver, which would then send it via PLC to the CM15A about 40' (2nd to 1st floor & thru rooms) and finally via USB to the AHP software installed in the dedicated PC with my Blue Iris software, which I had created an Advanced Macro that would trigger the Motion/Alerts that I had configured in Blue Iris, resulting in my iPhone getting an SMS Push Notification.  Hope this all makes sense :)

I first tried to make sure all this worked by trying the configuration in a new room I created in AHP that had the MS16A sensor, TM751 transceiver & the Advanced Macro I had created to trigger my Blue Iris software's Motion/Alert system.  Everything worked like a charm!

So the next step was to install the MS16A motion sensor about 9' up above my garage door looking down to cover the 15' x 15' front driveway.  BTW everything was set to default house code A1.  Then I plugged the TM751 transceiver to an outlet closest to the sensor which would be around 4' away through a wall (gyproc & wood siding).

For some reason it is not working.  I have a few questions then:
1.  Is my train of thought correct in assuming that the MS16A sensor when it senses motion, sends an RF signal to the TM751 transceiver which then converts/sends that signal via PLC to the CM15A/AHP which then runs the Macro to trigger the Motion/Alert on the Blue Iris software.
2.  Should it matter that I cannot control the TM751's lamp outlet because it might be out of the CM15A's RF range?  Obviously I am not using the lamp outlet in this configuration so don't really know why this would matter.  I'm just using the TM751 to receive/transmit the signal it gets from the MS16A sensor.
3.  Is my installation of the MS16A correct.  I only installed it higher up (looking down) because I didn't want it easily accessible/tampered.
4.  Would a different configuration using a PSC01 Power Flash Burglar Alarm module with a PIR Motion Sensor hardwired to it be a better solution to what I'm trying to achieve?  Here is a link on the PIR Motion Sensor:http://nellyssecurity.com/pir-motion-detector-for-eyesurv-dvr-s.html.  This is a Normally Closed (NC) device until it is triggered.

Again......thank you for taking the time to read & thanks in advance to those who reply!

1. If the MS16A is within range of the CM15A. It can also receive the RF command from it. If House Code A is set to be tranceived.
Most likely not a problem as the CM15A is not known for its RF receiving.
If you have power line noise makers, signal suckers or the TM751 is on one phase of the home and the CM15A is on the other phase of the home. The power line signals may not get there if you don't have phase coupling.
http://jvde.us/x10_troubleshooting.htm.
2. Does your TM751 has a button on the front of it to locally toggle the internal switch? There was a production run with no internal switch and the output was always On.
4. If the sensor you linked to is NC. It will send an Off when the terminals of a Powerflash are opened and an On when it is not triggered.
Probably could be triggering a macro looking for an Off command.

1. Ah Yes, that is probably why it was still working when I deleted the TM751 module from the New Room I created.  For some reason, there was a 1-minute delay (with the TM751) from when the MS16A detected motion to when the Macro was actually run.  Deleting the TM751 module fixed the delay.  More reading to do with phase coupling.  But if this is the case, then I might just use the MS16A/TM751 combo along with my X10 Door Chime Module go guard the pathway to our backyard as well as trigger the macro I created.

2. Yes, it has the ON/OFF button on the front.

4. Okay, that's good to know that I can use this PIR sensor, because a member in the ip camera forum I belong to suggested that because my PIR motion sensor was of the NC variety, that I could not use it, and thus I would have to hunt for a NO PIR sensor.

That sensor also requires a DC power connection.
Found a manual for the sensor you linked to. A Swan Quad by Crow Electronic Engineering.

For some reason, there was a 1-minute delay (with the TM751) from when the MS16A detected motion to when the Macro was actually run.  Deleting the TM751 module fixed the delay.
This was probably caused by the CM15A and TM751 both receiving the RF at about the same time. The TM751 cannot receive from the powerline so it will transmit as soon as it has received an RF code. The CM15A can receive from the powerline so it will suspend its PLC transmission until the powerline is clear. This probably also delays it from triggering any macro.

I think I've got it! -:)  When I was testing the setup in our master bedroom (where the PC is), everything worked, but I assumed they all worked because all the modules were in close proximity to each other.  So what I did was put the TM751 back to it's original location in the hallway (plugged to a wall socket just outside our master bedroom) which runs lengthwise through the house and voila......it works!  I'm pretty impressed with the MS16A's RF signal range which has to travel at least 25' through the garage door, then through the door to our hallway, then clear sailing to the TM751 module.  The Macro works!  The only thing is that I cannot use this in the daytime (especially when it's sunny) because the glare/heat from the concrete driveway along with the tree shadows moving about sets off the sensor!  I really wasn't intending on using this in the daytime anyways.  It is more for night-time where I get a lot of false alerts with car headlights bouncing off my white VW and setting off false alerts.

I'll give you guys an update after tonight.

Thank you ALL for your help & advice! :)%

PS. Is there any way to disable the ON/OFF switch on the TM751.  The clicking noise is annoying the Mrs.  ;D
