Help dummy
« on: July 18, 2013, 01:36:59 PM »

I am not anywhere near knowing what I am doing with macros.....
I have AHP pro with onalert, myhouse online andsmart macros. I want to have the macro send me an e-mail when a certain sensor is triggered so I know which zone. I have included a screen shot of what I have. I am using "unarmed" right now to test.
The only way I get an e-mail is to click "run macro". It won't work on it's own. What am I missing?
The trigger is set for a sensor (on house/security code) for "sensor triggered".
Condition for security state is "disarmed" right now for testing.
Then end trigger condition is "send e-mail".
Thanks,
Rex

I remember the first macro I created I kept testing and rewriting and it still didn't work. I hadn't realized I needed to name and save the macro files (which includes all macros, timers and modules). I use a year month date version.... name rules. So todays second macro rewrites file name would be: 2013dec16b
