WS267 Not Sending ON Signal
« on: February 04, 2016, 04:26:11 PM »

I have a macro that is activated when a WS267 is activated.  When I manually turn on the WS267 the signal is NOT displayed in the activity monitor.  From AHP I can turn on the light, the macro fires and the light turns off after the macro assigned time.

C3 - WS267 Address
Macro Trigger C3 ON
Wait 5 Minutes
C3 - Off

Do you mean a WS467 switch?
This switch doesn't send a x10 signal it only has a reciever built in.

You are correct it is a WS467.  I swapped WS467's and the macro finally worked.  Does that sound right since it does not have a transmitter??

If it was a X10 WS467 it has no power line transmitter in it. So it should not trigger your macro.
You don't have any X10 device that can send a signal like a Motion Sensor?

The second one was not a Smarthome Model X10WS467D was it. That was an Insteon Togglelinc with the Insteon labels taken off and you programmed it with an X10 address. That one is a two way device and would send an X10 power line signal back on the power lines from a local activation.

Brian,
It is a Powerhouse WS467.  I have a test bed with a light and a terminal for connecting switches.  The third switch I tried activated the macro twice in a row.  I'm installing it in a closet as the better half never turns the light off.  If it does not work I'll add a motion detector to the setup.

thanks,
Brian
