I did touch on this briefly here:
http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=29837.msg169206#msg169206However I'll go into more detail here.
Required hardware & software:
1: First you need a
Broadlink RM Pro2: You'll also need the RM Bridge app (free) or the RM Plugin lite app(yearly fee)
3: Wijit hub to help teach the Broadlink RF codes. (not require if using only 1 to 3 wijits as I've posted these codes)
4: The econtrol app to setup your Broadlink to your router.
5: An android device to run 24/7 or at least during the time you wish alexa control.
6: An Alexa device
Learning codes:
The econtrol app goes into detail as does the RM Bridge web page for learning codes however since the wijit hub is Wi-fi you can't press and hold a button to learn the frequency.
To learn the frequency to must repeatidly press a on button in the wijit app until econtrol or the RM bridge web interface has learned it then you can move on to learn the actual button.
To make things easy, I've uploaded codes 1-3 to the econtrol app cloud share(these will not work for the RM Bridge)
Codes for 1-3 that work for the RM Bridge are posted here:
http://tuicemen.com/forum/index.php?topic=1167.msg7138#msg7138Getting Alexa to see devices:
The simplest is using eControl and RM Plugin lite, just follow the instructions in the RM Plugin lite app
Using the RM Bridge is a bit more work however if you have a smartthings hub it will allow the use of it.
The RM Bridge will also allow Alexa control via the HA-Bridge. instructions for setting up devices in the HA-Bridge can be found here:
