Sorry an exception occurs....

Been using the Wifi controller for quite a while now.  My X10 app won't connect as of today.   When I try to open the app, I get  "sorry an exception has occurred, the App will restart.  It doesn't. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and storage.  I am at a loss...any suggestions.

If you click on the link at the top of the forum screen to check wm100 server status you'll see ther is a issue with some Android devices that has developed

Per https://www.x10.com/pages/contactform, there is a known issue with the X10 app and Android devices. We are at X10's mercy until a fix is issued...

Since I don't have auto app update enabled on my phone I was able to use Samsungs smart switch to copy the older version to my tablet after uninstalling the current version from it.

Apparently x10 was able to duplicate the problem with an Android device. How long it takes the developer to resolve is anyone's  guess. if anyone wants they can install the older version using the APK if they are savvy enough from the link below:
Last working version was V2.0.15
