DST and the CM15a (again)
« on: April 20, 2017, 07:22:25 PM »

I know it's been talked about a lot but I can't find any report it was ever resolved.

Was there ever a fix that:

1.  Corrected DST dates in the CM15a
2.  Made the CM15a understand that Arizona does not use DST except on tribal lands. (in other words respect the PC "DST not used" time zone setting)

Not respecting "DST not used" has been a problem for ever since I bought the thing.  The DST data change is relatively new and does not really impact me.

Thanks
Andy D.

I'm not aware of any changes.  If fact I'm pretty sure we are using obsolete equipment and software.  I just manually set the DST time range each year after the November time change.

The last revision was 10/03/11 according to the revision history. When X10WTI was still in business.

When X10WTI went bankrupt. The AHP code was a mess and in the move to the new owners company. It was lost.
I also doubt the Daylight Saving Time was ever fixed.

.......

We "could" have said the same thing about the years of posts here at the forum. Except... people took upon themselves to preserve what they thought was a common value to X10 users. I refuse to believe that X10 software isn't out there somewhere.

Let's hope it stays lost.  :-[

Not a popular opinion in these parts, but I concur!
