Was wondering if anyone was aware of the pin out configuration or had a wiring diagram for the above. I'm working on a virtual keypad via an Arduino. Early days but was wondering if anyone had already examined the physical side of the keypad in the security console.

SC9000 which is effectively the Euro version of the SC1200. Panel can be armed/disarmed, lights can be turned on and off and configured via the 16 key keypad and the two additional arm home/away keys. It also gives access to delayed exit. I’m designing a web api to emulate a virtual security panel. There’s very little technical data available for this range of panels I can find. I can either hack into the keypad bus or if there’s any other serial I/O available on the board I could use that too.

The virtual key pad your looking at creating are you planing to allow it to setup/program the console or just arm/disarm?

Full console capability is what I’m targeting to be operated from a tablet. Just trying to determine if there’s any tech specs available on these panels.

All I'm able to locate is the owners manual.
I'll keep digging it is possible there is a schematic registered with the FCC.

I can see nothing technical for this panel. I’ll put a scope on the board and see what it throws up. In the meantime maybe someone might dig up some tech specs on it.

I don't have much data on an SC1200.

Since it has no RF transmitter in it. I could not find it on the FCC site. As it only has the phone line interface acceptance number on it.

Ok. So it’s an RF receiver only. Any X10 commands it transmits are via PL. Would that be correct.

Correct. Power Line only commands sent.
In the SC1200 the power line transmitter is in the wall wart power supply. The four wires are +DC,Common,Transmit Key signal and Zero Crossing.

Thanks. I'll have to figure out the keypad bus so. It's the obvious place to start. Unless of course the panel has some form of serial I/O on board. Again not being able to track down some spec sheets makes life a little more difficult. I'm surprised nobody has had a closer look at this panel before.
