Best Module to Control a Lamp with Medium Base LED Bulbs

For years, I had a RCA-branded RR501 base module transceiver collecting wireless commands and controlling a hurricane lamp with a medium base LED bulb. I believe this is really an appliance module (no dim).

Just yesterday, I found the light on and could not control the module wirelessly and the on/off button on the front did not work. I tried using an AM486 appliance module, but when off current dimly illuminated the LED bulb.

What's the current recommendation for a module to turn off a lamp using medium base LED bulbs?
