Android app not staying connected
« on: December 02, 2024, 07:14:13 AM »

Deleted app. Installed app. Version 2.0.18. Connected to WM100 doing the button push procedure. Did not add devices as my devices show up. I can control the devices fine. The next time I open the app it can’t connect. I have to do the button push process again. This is on my Galaxy 24 Ultra phone App on my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite works fine. As does the Apple app on my iPad.

I'd  uninstall app on the galaxy 24 and reinstall. Once installed open and select conect to existing hub scan the qr code of you should not need to push a button. I have a new galaxy S24 and I installed and connected fine this way.
Note: Be sure your phone is on your networks 2ghz radio as the WM100 will not setup on the 5ghz.

Another way to add the wifi app to your new phone is to use samsungs smartwatch on your new and old device.
You should not need to press a button on the WM100 to conect to an existing setup one.

Uninstalled app. Shutdown phone. Started phone. Installed app from Play Store. First startup it asked to use my location. Said While Using the App. Open to standard menu. Checked timers. All were there and showed correct current status (all off). Closed app. Turned off phone. Turned phone on. Started app. Started correctly.

Very strange. Why did it not need to see the QR code to know how to talk to the WM100? I assume it did not ask for the wifi password as the WM100 already knew that.

I was having similar issues...after the first fix, could load app but it would not connect...tapping 'Settings' would get it to connect.

Just deleted and reinstalled the app and now all is fine. I also did NOT have to scan the QR code, input wifi password, etc, just allowed location while using the app and everything works as it should...
