Whether from the computer or an RF remote,
sometimes, I issue a command to turn some
lights off and they briefly go off, then
back on again.  Does anyone know what might
be causing this?  It's not consistent, if
you try several times in a row, some might
work and some might toggle back.

Alan, by chance do you have a florescent
type light in the circuit?  If so try
replacing it with a regular bulb.
Florescent lights cause noise issues on the
line.

actually, I did (a fish tank) but
unplugging it didn't help.  The time this
was happening the most was from a macro.  I
have a reliability problem with one
particular light so I wrote a macro that
turns it off AND issues an RF command to
turn it off.  I have another transceiver
that seems to more reliably control that
light.  When I changed the macro to only
send RF, it now works reliably.  Why would
sending off signals via both RF (to another
transceiver) and line signals cause it to
briefly turn off and then back on.  Does
this have something to do with the fact
that the CM15A is transceiving the same
house code (or monitoring that house code)?

ah, a clue.  What is the model # of the 2nd
transeiver.  If it is a TM751 it is probably
causing the irratic behavior.  The CM15A is
polite if their is already a signal on the
line it will wait then send.  However the
TM751 will clobber an existing line signal.
The CM15A will iniate macro's that are on a
housecode that it is set to ignore for
transeiving.  (Transeive essentially means
it will receive the RF then put the same
signal out onto the line.)  This is what a
TM751 does.  However when you disable a
housecode for transeiving in the CM751 it
still receives the RF signal just like the
TM751.  However, the CM15A proceeds to
initate a macro if it is at that address and
puts that signal on the line.  Then while
that signal is transmitting the TM751 sends
its signal and the line signal gets
corrupted.  Try not to have any macro's on
housecodes with an external transponder.

If you are using a transciever with the
CM15A, and your having problems with a
macro, the problem is caused by the fact
that both the transciever and the CM15A are
trying to control the macro.  When you turn
of the transcieve house code in the CM15A
it will still recieve the RF signal and
trigger the macro but will not put that RF
command onto the powerline, ie: the term
transcieve.  Try eliminating the additional
transciever.
