I will give up my interest in this thread
with the following:
The 1132CU is about twice the price of the
CM15A, the 15A has an 'introductory price'
right now.
Keeping that in mind, I love the tweak-
ability of the 1132CU and the SmartHome
software. Timers, macros, and even things
like being able to change some of the rates
and threshold levels on the controller have
put me in tweakers paradise.
If you have a functional CM15A and do not
need all of the extra gizmos, my advice
would be to not spend the extra money on an
1132CU.
The 1132CU is apparently a Cadillac in the
world of GM sedans. If you can afford one,
fine, but the family car still gets you to
work.
I will be paying about twice the price of
the iWitness video software for video
capture ability with my 1132CU. I have a
good budget and like to experiment so I do
not mind.
The reason I am being so kind to X10 is that
they appear to be working hard to get the
kinks out of this new product.
An 'open forum' is about the hardest thing
you can do to a product line. History shows
that satisfied customers do not complain (or
leave messages of their happiness).
I (with a grin on my face) have done my best
to test the credibilty of this forum. It is
open, and not censored in respect to
criticism.
Good job X10 people (and any bots you may
use).
