Leviton HCM06-1S
« on: June 24, 2005, 08:28:34 AM »

I have a Leviton Universal Dimmer Switch
that is causing me problems.  If I turn the
switch on with the software I can control
it.  I can also control the swich with the
remote.  However when I program the light
to come on with the software it does not
want to work.  I have tried within a Macro
and on it's own.

Any ideas?

Most Leviton modules won't work with a
a Macro. Try defining an appliance
module with the same address/house-code,
and using the macro to turn on the
dummy module.  This is a known glitch
that X10 should have fixed soon.

(AHP tries to send out a "Bright 100%" to
turn the module on.  This won't work with
Leviton modules.  Actually, none of the
BRIGHT commands will work; the switch needs
an "ON" send, and then dimming commands.)
