3-way switches
« on: October 08, 2005, 04:09:20 PM »

I am hooking up a XPDI3 master switch and a
XPSS slave switch.  On the master I hooked
the black lead to hot, the blue lead to
load, the red to the screw terminal labeled
switch on the slave.  Also on the slave I
hooked the screw terminal labeled line to
hot.  The white wire is not used.  The
lights do not work.  What am I missing?

The XPDI3 needs a Neutral Wire to work. So
the White must be connected to the Neutral
feed wire. If you don't have a Neutral in
the switch box that switch can not be used,
untill one is run into the box.
