I had to go back to 3.186, the update
works  but is consuming 99% of my cpu time.
If I shut down AHP then restart it works
for a short time then my CPU usage goes
back up to 99%

It has to be machine specifiic I run 3.198
with no problems. All timers/macros run as
specified, with no hogging of CPU time.

AH 1.42 had the same machine related
problems. It would run fine for lots of
users, but some (myself included) could not
use it. AH 1.32 was fine and worked properly
on my system, but 1.42 would refuse to see or
load to the CMA11. Since all the AH sofware
was 16-bit, XP didn't like it, so I switched
to AHP.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Paul: Try this: Exit ActiveHome Pro.  Open
the folder \Documents and Settings\All
Users\X10 Settings\ and delete everything
that's there. Run AHP again.

Mine dies everytime I try to edit or add a macro.

Joe: If you create a new file does it still
do that?

joe

What do you mean create a new file? I am
using the original AHX file and no, I dont
want to reinvent the entire thing. I should
be able to use my original AHX file.

Dan Lawrence

AHP is the program.

A file is what you create with AHP to run
your X10 modules in your house.  I have three
different files for times of the year: one
for everyday in the year, one for the
Christmas season with additional modules that
control decorations and one for summertime.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Joe: I understand wanting to use the file you
have -- I just want to test it with a new
file. If the new file works and the old one
doesn't, it would suggest something has
gotten corrupted in the old file. In that
case, you could e-mail to me and I could
check it out and fix it.
