Hey all.
I have an old laptop ~300mhz, probably 256MB
RAM max.
Would this be sufficient to run AHP off of?

Also, will the CM15A work through a USB hub?

Thanks.

Dan Lawrence

What O/S is on the laptop?

My system has both USB-1 and USB-2 ports. I
originaly had the CM15 on a USB-2 port, and
the CM15A had fits every day or so. I moved
it to a USB-1 port and no more problems.  I
guess it will work on a hub, but there are
some USB devices that don't like hubs, even
though hubs are supposed to be transparent.
The CM15A might be one of those devices. Try
it and see, if it works, post it here.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

XP Sp2 is on there now, but I could load 98
or 2000 as well..

AHP gets along fine with XP sp2.

As to to using a USB Hub, try it and see if
the CM15A likes it.

Yeah, I used AHP on my main box with XP SP2
and it's working fine.

Was wonder what the specs were for the
software and if I should install a less
resource-intensive OS on the laptop (only
300mhz).

Showson: A 300MHz PC is probably fast enough
to run AHP, but you'll want to turn off the
animations and sounds I think. If you are
just creating timers and macros and running
them from that PC, it should be fine. I
wouldn't want to run iWitness (the
video/camera plug-in) on a machine that speed.

The CM15A will work fine through a hub. If
you have problems, you might want to check
the hub itself -- we've tried a few cheap,
no-name hubs here that were pretty flaky.
