Sendin e-mails via dial up

Installed I-Witness a couple of days ago
and can't get it to connect to the internet
and send e-mails via dial up.  Very
frustrating...sometimes the Connection
dialogue shows, but most of the time it
doesn't.

I just want to record some snapshots and
then e-mail them via dial up.  Is there any
trick to this?

I have tried using a Windows command in
Smart Macros (Rasphone), but it still shows
a connection dialogue, which is useless if
I'm not at home.
