Just wondering if anybody else is having
problem with use of the "dusk" feature.
Just upgraded from AH and it always worked
fine but not on the new pro setup.  I can
control the lights fine from the computer
and timed settings with a specific time
work OK too but not any timed events
related to use of the dusk.  Thanks

Danno,
I am still using ver 3.199 and my timers,
dusk/dawn settings seem to work ok.
I have a deck floodlight that is set for dusk
+20 min to activate and it has been working
right on schedule for months.
What ver are you using ?

Danno:  Do you have the correct timezone set
in Windows?  Microsoft defaults to PST.  AHP
uses the timezone when calculating the dusk
and dawn times.

I had upgrade to the 3.2 when I first
installed but had all the problems with
locking up that everybody else seems to be
having.  I uninstalled and started over with
3.19 that came with it.  I believe I have
the time zone set correctly in Windows.  I
checked the time in the interface and
checked the time zone setting in the
hardware configuration screen.  Everything
checks out and I tried several tests last
night with my outdoor housecode and indoor
one.  Nothing got turned on that was a dusk
setting or with any number of minutes offset
to that time however the same lights will
turn on if I set them to a specific like
5:00 pm and the off time set at a specific
time (10 pm) works fine too.  Seems like it
would not be a hardware problem since
everything else works by timer or direct
control on the computer.  This feature
worked perfectly on my old AH interface and
it was nice not to need to alter the on
times all year.  Thanks for your input

Update,
Once I managed to get through to tech
support today they were able to help and I
thought I would pass along the info here.
They said that they thought my data was
corrupt (reasons unknown) and I told them I
had reprogrammed the interface but they
said it was probably in the file (*.ahx)
They had me create a one code, one light
test program and download that to the
interface.  This worked.  The only drawback
was having to re-create my whole house but
not that bad in the larger scheme of
things.  I deleted the old ahx file and
started new and ran a test of several
lights with dusk setting.  All worked
correctly. Thanks everybody for the
help !:)

Danno:  Thanks for the update.  I once had a
corrupt .ahx file (in my case it caused the
interface to crash frequently) and had to
re-write it from scratch.  Now I try to back
it up before making any new changes so that I
can always go back to the previous revision
if needed.
