Windows Commands
« on: January 17, 2006, 08:39:16 PM »

When a windows command is entered in Smart
Macros with parameters it does not run.

I'm trying to use Rasdial to dial a
specific dial up connection and Rasdial /d
to disconnect from an active connection.

Both these commands work from the CMD line
of windows and when calling the Rasdial
Command appended with the connection name
from a directory (System 32).

However, I get some error (disappears too
fast to see what it is  - might be access
denied).

Is there something special (or not) about
the SmartMacros Windows command feature
which will prevent the correct running of
windows commands?

X10 Pro.  Any idea when you can add the
commands to disconnect from and connect to
the internet (in the same vain as the
Network Server Control Command)?

Cheers.

We're already working on the bug that keeps
the dial-up connection from hanging up when
it's supposed to, but I don't have an
estimate for adding the new macro commands.

X10Pro Thanks for the update.

I have figured out a temporary solution for
disconnecting the internet solution (see
post Dial Up/Windows Commands Answers.
However, the correct functioning with
MyHouse will help in a big way.
