To set my Hardware Interface Configuration,
I choose New York, NY from the drop down
list, as NY is only about 40 miles away
from my home. However, I looked up the Lat
and Long of my town and wanted to set it by
choosing "Custom," and entering the proper
coordinates. After I enter the information,
If I click save, a Microsoft error report
always pops up with the following summary
info: AppName: activehm.exe AppVer:
3.0.0.171 ModName: ahp.dll ModVer:
3.0.0.172 Offset: 00131a1c. I do have
Norton Internet Security and Antivirus
installed on my machine, but I disable both
programs before I start AHP. I learned to
do this upon original install registration
of AHP, as it would not work unless I
disabled the Nortons. Please Advise. Walt K.

What version of Windows are you using? What
coordinates are you entering, exactly as it
appears on screen? When you're done entering
do you hit enter, or just click save?

I had a similar problem entering custom
coordinates when I first loaded AHP awhile
back. My problem was that I assumed that
since the coordinates were given in decimal
figures that AHP was looking for a decimal
representation. Instead the number is in a
degree minute format. The decimal
representation of my coordinates was
something like LL.92. AHP crashed
since ".92" was greater than the maximum
allowable figure of ".59".

BTW X10.. Personally I would of put the
custom option at the top of the list
instead of the bottom.
BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!

For what it's worth, I am succesfully using
AHP with Norton 2005 enabled.

Steven R: I didn't know about that possible
crash situation using the entry of minutes. I
bet that's Walt K is seeing. I'll see that we
get this fixed in the next update.

Update to Version 3.173, issue is resolved!
Thank you to everyone for taking time to
help and advise. I hope that I can
reciprocate in the future. Walt K.
