Unable to use conditionals and RF commands
« on: January 09, 2005, 04:14:16 PM »

I sent an e-mail 12/30/04 explaining this
and have had no response. Text of message: I
have looked all over and have been unable to
use these features and I think I have found
out why. I believe they are at the end of a
window that has no scroll bar. See attached
file (I would think it there were only one
room or so this would not be a problem). I
attached a screenshot showing the problem.
This is the first time that I have tried
using e-mail support and am surprised that I
didn't get a response. This needs to be
corrected if you have more than a few rooms
and need to set up macros and RF commands.

I take it you have the Smart Macros Plug as
I believe Conditionals where in the optional
package.

If you Bump up your screen resolution you
will be able to see all the rooms X10 is
working on this (so I was told). Not everyone
can bump up there resolution and still be
able to read the text.

Yes I purchased the smart macros (although I
was under the impression when I purchased
AHP that would be included later). I guess I
could change the resolution, but that is a
pain as I have standardized on what I have
(it becomes to hard to read with the higher
resoulution when I am working with Excel and
such) Thanks for the comments. Still
surprised that AHP couldn't take the time to
reply to my e-mail, I have been trying to
work out all of the problems on my own and
through reading the forum. The system is
certainly not "plug and play", as I needed
to add a repeater (which I didn't need
before using AH and the 501 modules). There
certainly are some issues here, but I have
been running X10 for around 25 years and
overall it has been quite reliable!

We'll be adding a scroll bar to the room list
in the next release.
