Hint to stop smart macros cascading start ...
« on: January 27, 2005, 12:06:36 AM »

When I'm using flags in smart macros and
using dimming feature in these macros, I
get some cascading start of all other
macros ..
Example : macro trigger by C16 starts, does
what it has to do, stop and at the end (for
no reason) start the next macro C15, etc.

My solution for this problem is to set all
the flags I use in all other macros just
before the last command of the macro and at
the end clear all flags

I'm a french canadian, so excuse my
english :
I'm putting here a REAL EXAMPLE to
demonstrate the problem :

(First macro)

Salle de bain - nuit C16 On and
The time is between 12:00 am and 6:00 am and
Flag Status Off exactly 14
(C8) Lumieres - miroir Dim by 35%
Set Flags [14] Flag Command
Delay for 05:30
(C8) Lumieres - miroir Dim by 15%
Delay for 30 Second
Clear Flags [14] Flag Command
Set Flags [5] Flag Command
(C8) Lumieres - miroir OFF
Clear Flags [5] Flag Command

(second macro)

Lavage C15 On and
Flag Status Off exactly 5 and
The time is between 12:00 am and 6:00 am
Set Flags [5] Flag Command
(A16) Fixture Lavage Dim by 5%
Delay for 05:00
(A16) Fixture Lavage Dim by 30%
Delay for 30 Second
(A16) Fixture Lavage Dim by 80%
Clear Flags [5] Flag Command
Set Flags [14] Flag Command
(A16) Fixture Lavage OFF
Clear Flags [14] Flag Command

LOOK WHAT I'M DOING WITH THE FLAGS 14 and 5
TO PREVENT CASCADING START OF THE MACROS

Without this solution, each time C16 was
ending, it was starting automaticaly C15
with no reason (and vice-versa). WHY ?
