I have been reading this forum for a few
months now. I stopped troubleshooting the
CM15A and have been impressed with what I
have learned from all of you that do
participate in this forum. Thanks )
However, just today, my brain drew a
parallel between what I have been reading
here and an old Star Trek episode
called "The Ultimate Computer". Remember
the part in this episode where Dr. Daystrom
is trying to convince the M-5 Multitronic
computer that it is "Killing" and Spock
says "The M-5 is not responding like a
computer. It's talking to him." This is how
I view this forum. All of you are Dr.
Daystrom trying to convince the M-5(X-10)
about the problems and X-10(M-5) just seem
to be talking to you without really
listening.

AHP/CM15A is no Ultimate Computer!

It may not be the ultimate computer,
but it is the Ultimate piece of Junk, and
X10 is laughing all the way to the bank at
our expenses

Robert... Carmine:  Good points but I
believe they did an early release because of
mister chapter 11 and the urgency to getting
out of it in the first part of 2005.  Now
they are scrambling like hell to make the
product right . . . except the “bean
counters” don’t know how to get the right
engineering talent nor do they know how to
be entrepreneurs for they are simply
historians by trade.  So the result is
overstatement, followed by under
achievement, resulting in fraudulent
delivery of what has been promised.  Ergo
the return of Mister Chapter XX . . . the
ultimate CM15A tragedy.
