Monitored House Code doesn't stick
« on: July 21, 2005, 10:33:16 AM »

When I try to change the monitored house
code and save it  - the program reports the
old house code is being monitored. This
happens after an initial change and save,
and a re-run of the program.

Donald,
Are you also saving your user file? Under
File-Save, you may want to try a File-Save
As also to create a new user file.

You can check if the user file was saved
correctly, open the file: C:\Program
Files\ActiveHome Pro\YOURFILENAMEHERE.ahx
using NotePad. Look towards the end of this
file for: monitoredhc="XX", where XX =
HouseCode, A=0, B=1....K=10, L=11...

Good Luck!

Donald
AHP wants to make the most populated HC the
monitored HC. AHP upon closing will ask if
you want to change the monitored HC to the
HC with largest number of units.  If AHP
isn't asking, you need to go to options and
check the check box to force it to ask. If
you don't force it to ask, it will change
the HC to the most populated upon closing.
(the software always knows better...)
