LM14A macro bug
« on: October 13, 2005, 09:55:07 AM »

AHP 3.187.  A simple macro that controls an
LM14A 2 way lamp module for a sunrise
simulation produces different results for 2
consecutive downloads to the CM15A.

The macro graphic editor shows L1 1%, delay
10 sec, L1 3%, delay 10 sec, etc.  The macro
text box shows turn sunrise on and dim to
1%, Turn sunrise on and dim to 3% etc.

After loading to the CM15A the first time
after clearing interface memory the eeprom
file shows:

-- Mo Tu We Th Fr -- , from 1-jan to 31-dec
time on  05:30
L1 brighten first, then dim by 99%
delay 00:10 min:sec
L1 brighten first, then dim by 97%
delay 00:10 min:sec

This results in the sunrise lamp flashing
full bright.

Without exiting AHP, or editing the AHX, a
second load to the CM15A produces an eeprom
file that reads:

-- Mo Tu We Th Fr -- , from 1-jan to 31-dec
time on  05:30
L1 dim to 2%
delay 00:10 min:sec
L1 dim to 3%
delay 00:10 min:sec

This produces the progressive brightening
that was expected.  I saw this problem last
winter but at that time didn't know it could
be fixed by repeating the upload.

Has anyone else using LM14A macro control
seen this problem.

X10 pro - Why does the macro text box show
the wrong commands for LM14A brightness
control?  Wht do different compliles give
diferent results?

I will submit the AHX and eeprom files on
request.

thanks  Andy
